12 Fall Coffee Table Tray Decor Ideas

It’s Fall, and I’m sharing 12 Fall Coffee Table Tray Decor Ideas that I hope will inspire you in your fall decorating.

I love to style coffee tables and fall is one of my favourite seasons, so I had a ton of fun creating 12 different looks that are perfectly suited for a rustic country style.

Coffee tables are often large pieces of furniture in prominent places like great rooms, living rooms and family rooms. They offer a great space to showcase decorations that will compliment your overall style or theme.

My home style is Country Industrial – a mix of rustic country and industrial elegance. For fall, I chose galvanized metal pumpkins, and glass pumpkins with metal stems to tie into the overall interior design.

You know I love to shop local! I have two custom designed coffee tables in my home that were locally made in Langley, BC. The industrial coffee table in the living room was made by Turner Metal and Wood, and the Elk Creek Square Coffee Table was built by White Fence Farms for our family room.

Here are the 12 Fall Coffee Table Tray Decor Ideas

1. Add one fall colour to your overall home colour palette

If you want to stick primarily to your home colour palette, add one traditional or non-traditional fall colour to create an unexpected surprise component to your coffee table tray design.

2. Fruits and nuts

A rustic galvanized bucket filled with fruit and nuts adds a vintage touch to a galvanized wagon server.

3. Soft textures like felt and velvet

This rustic gray wash wood tray has rounded sides and a soft texture just like the felt garland and velvet pumpkins.

4. Add some shine

Shine + colour set a focal point for this room.

5. Wood decorations warm up any space

The rustic grapevine pumpkin, natural wood slice coasters and a pair of wooden birds create a whimsical flare that I love. The small wooden tray with quote “SHARE ENJOY SAVOUR” is also a great Thanksgiving table decoration.

6. Objects of different heights

Add objects of different heights, shapes and sizes to create a visually pleasing vignette.

7. Add one of your favourite decor items

I love this wood bead garland!

8. Industrial element

This concrete “Family” decorative sphere takes the industrial look up a notch.

9. Potted plants and flowers

Potted plants on a tray add a touch of nature – bringing the outside in.

10. Dark on Light or Light on Dark

For a black or dark wood table top, go with neutral or crisp white items.

11. Mix hard and soft elements

Mix it up! Combining hard and soft decorative objects adds character.

12. Seasonal Plant and Flower Pot Containers

Bright flowers in a pumpkin flower pot is a wonderful fall touch.

I hope you have fun giving your coffee table a fall makeover with a stunning fall tray. It will add brightness and texture, and will create a fall focal point in the room that everyone will be sure to notice.
