Chocolate Peanut Butter Pudding

There are few flavour combinations that I enjoy more than chocolate and peanut butter. This creamy, thick Chocolate Peanut Butter Pudding is so delicious and it’s quick and easy to make too!

Home-made pudding is so much easier to make than you might think. All you need are a few simple ingredients that you probably have on hand, and it cooks up in less than 15 minutes.

You can use dark or milk chocolate and top the pudding with whatever you love, such as peanuts, banana slices, or MORE chocolate and peanut butter!

Pudding is such a versatile dessert ~ you can use it in many ways. Trifle, popsicles, pie, cookies and cake to name a few. Check out my yummy Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie Parfait recipe!

It’s also a fun dessert to make with the kids. They’ll have fun adding their favourite toppings!

How to Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Pudding

  1. Combine sugar, cornstarch, and cocoa in a medium saucepan. Stir with a whisk.
  2. Whisk in milk and cream.
  3. Bring to boil over medium heat. Cook 1 minute until thick and bubbling. Remove from heat.
  4. Add chocolate and peanut butter, stirring until smooth.
  5. Spoon 1/2 cup of pudding each into 4 bowls. Top each with 1 tsp peanuts. Chill and serve cold.

Ingredients
  

  • 2/3 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 tbsp cornstarch
  • 4 tbsp cocoa
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup cream
  • 4 oz milk or dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp dry-roasted peanuts, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Combine sugar, cornstarch, and cocoa in a medium saucepan. Stir with a whisk.
  • Whisk in milk and cream.
  • Bring to boil over medium heat. Cook 1 minute until thick and bubbling. Remove from heat.
  • Add chocolate and peanut butter, stirring until smooth.
  • Spoon 1/2 cup of pudding each into 4 bowls. Top each with 1 tsp peanuts. Chill and serve cold.
