Today I’m sharing my Sparkle & Shine Christmas Tablescape! This year I’m loving the Winter Wonderland theme, and I also love a Glam Christmas style. So I combined the two to create a unique look that blends a Glam style with Winter Wonderland accents.
I had a vision of a winter sleigh ride! A shimmering silver table runner, sleigh, reindeer, and lots of silver and winter white throughout helped to bring my vision to life!
I had so much fun creating this Sparkle & Shine Christmas Tablescape using a ‘Winter Wonderland Glam’ scheme. It’s perfect for any holiday dinner party!
Here are a few Tips for Creating a Sparkle & Shine Christmas Tablescape in your own home:
A show-stopper centerpiece, a monochromatic colour scheme, quality tableware, beautiful accents, best wishes and a touch of whimsical are at the top of my list when it comes to styling a holiday tablescape.
The white metal sleigh filled with winter white and silver glass ball ornaments is the Show-Stopper on this table! It attracts attention and reflects a winter scene. I love how the sleigh sparkles & shines!
Choosing a centerpiece that is not too tall is important, as it allows guests to see each other from across the table. Place taller pieces, like candles, at the ends of the table.
Winter white, silver and grey are the base for this holiday scheme. A simple lightly embroidered silvery-white table runner provides a snow-fallen backdrop that ties this tablescape together.
A large Pinwheel crystal bowl is filled with large crackled mercury glass ornaments, and the glass goblets are perfect for wine or water.
Stemware can significantly impact the overall setting you want to create for your dinner party. A simple water glass may be too casual, and an expensive crystal wine glass may be too formal. Universal stemware, such as glass goblets (coloured or clear) is the perfect choice for every style.
Metallic accents bring the shine to the table! A beautiful silver bead garland, elegant crackled mercury glass ball ornaments, and a silver holiday candy dish add the final touches!
Bring on the Sparkle and Shine! Mercury glass ornaments are sturdy and heavier than most glass ornaments, so they are a good choice for the tabletop.
If your dining room is open to the living room, like mine, create a special space by connecting the rooms with the same decor theme.
Neutrals work well with holiday decorating. For understated elegance, pair white with grey, beige or brown.
The ornate deer figurines bring an elegant nature-inspired woodland look to the tabletop.
For extra personality, add reindeer, squirrel or bird figurines to create a cozy, woodland setting that all your guests will enjoy!
Can you imagine a sleigh ride through a wonderland of snow?
Finally, the ‘Merry Christmas‘ party crackers and ‘Imagine‘ silver wood block bring Holiday Wishes to the table!
I think this is my most favourite tablescape yet! I hope you enjoy creating a Sparkle & Shine Christmas Tablescape in your home, and don’t forget to give this post a Pin!
